Brrrrrr

It's freezing in London! I threw away my only close-toed shoes to make room for the two pairs of Greek sandals I bought and now I'm regretting it! And I'm sure my tan will be gone by the time I come home. Bummer.
Otherwise, London is super fun! I met a girl from Penn State and we walked around the city for 6 hours yesterday, doing St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and the London Eye. We did more exploring today. We flirted with the horse guards, met a guy who cruises around town on a motorized couch, and we scored tickets for "Wicked."

Our time in Athens got much better. We hired a guide of questionable legality at the Acropolis, but she was really smart and funny. We blitzed the whole city, seeing the Roman Agora, the Ancient Agora, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Parliment, Keramikos, and the National Archeological Museum. And we shopped like it was going out of style. We finally found the touristy "nice" area of Athens, but ended up at some gritty Bar Street for dinner. I enjoyed it very much, but you would not believe the strange looks we were getting.

I miss Greece. I don't even know what to eat here. All I want is some Greek salad and Greek yoghurt. I was semi-homeless yesterday because I messed up my hostel reservations and I ended up at this super sketchy (but full of character) place for the night. I kept thinking this never would have happened with Trina. I miss you, Trina!!!
