Oktoberfest, where have you been all my life?!

I love love LOVE Oktoberfest. It is everything I dreamed it would be. Rides and games and singing and dancing and beer. Oh, the beer! It´s like beer Disneyland. We went on a tent crawl, but with beer coming by the liter, we only made it to 2 tents. I ate half a chicken and Karen got a pretzel the size of her torso. I got a giant cookie that you wear around your neck that said "Give me a Kiss" in German. It was funny. We spent 6 hours in one tent eating and drinking and standing on the benches singing. And we ate schnitzle! Such great times!
Amsterdam was crazy fun, too. Our hostel ended up being right in the center of the Red Light district. It was very cultural. And I have never seen so many bikes in my life!
Belfast was one of my favorite cities so far. Mom says I say that about every city, but Belfast just had this extreme intensity. We went on the Black Cab tour into the Prodestant and Catholic areas and learned about the Troubles. The murals were fascinating. There is one of an IRA gunman and the gun points at you wherever you go in this huge park.
Our homeless night in Dublin went quite well. We closed down the bars, then there was this huge street party for some big soccer match, so we joined in. At daylight we went to the airport and crashed on the floor. I looked like such a hobo.
Tonight we catch a midnight train to Belgrade. But first we´re going to dive back into the Oktoberfest festivities!!!
