Pash & Dash!!

TOODLE PIP from Jolly England! I've been here a week and it is the most INSANELY FUN time ever! We've seen, learned, and experienced so much and have met new friends from all over the world. Yesterday Karen and I left London after 5 days and we can't stop talking and laughing about how cool the city was. I didn't expect it to be so much different from the US. I miss it already. It was nonstop, but here are some of the highlights:

-I ate a kangaroo burger.
-All the men here wear capris.
-We met a crazy Australian, Claire, who taught us a whole new vocab including knackered, fortnight, and (my fave) pash and dash.
-Karen threw up on the tube (the English don't believe in public restrooms).
-I ate fish & chips at a gorgeous pub that dates to the 1600s.
-In the hot tub, we met another crazy Australian who had just gotten arrested for jumping off the London Bridge into the Thames. We got out of the hot tub really fast. . . the Thames could NOT be any nastier!
-We went to evensong at Westminster Abbey, the most incredible church in the world. We got to walk amongst and touch the tombs of thousands of famous kings, queens, and artists.
-We met a guy with his pin number tattoed to his foot.
-A guy drop kicked a talking stuffed donkey.
-Everyone here hates the French. Even the French.
-We went to Church, which is this incredible party in the middle of the day on Sunday during church hours. You have to know someone who knows someone to find out about it.
-We became buddies with all the people who worked our hostel, so we got to be VIP and go into pubs after they'd closed.
-I love rugby!!

I've taken millions of pictures and don't worry. . . I'll make everyone I can wrangle suffer through them all when I get home. But apparently the English do not believe in computers with USB ports. So even if I pay $6 per hour for internet use, I can't upload my photos. I'll keep working on it and keep you posted! Cherrio! (Someone ACTUALLY said "Cherrio" to us yesterday. I nearly hugged him!)
