I chickened out on the haggis. . .

I had an extra day on my rail pass, so this morning I hopped a train along the West Highlands Railway to Oban. Following with my Harry Potter theme, the West Highlands Railway is where parts of the Hogwarts Express was filmed. It was an amazing ride. The highland cow is one of the craziest looking things I've ever seen.
It immediately started pouring rain when I stepped off the train. I am completely drenched. An old lady standing under an awning laughed at me and said I should go get some soap, since I'm taking a shower. At least I think that's what she said. I can't understand ANYONE up here. And they can barely understand me. It's pretty amusing.
So I ducked into a bookstore and bought a book on Scottish history. My train comes in about 2 hours, so I'm going to go get some fish & chips and learn about Scotland!
Tomorrow we fly out to Dublin, so my next post will be from IRELAND!!!
