Freezing and shopping in Edinburgh!!

I am so in love with Edinburgh! The city is seriously haunted. They have all these memorials to people who were killed or tortured all over the city. Every pub has a story.
Yesterday we toured the amazing castle that looms over the city, followed by lunch at the restaurant where JK Rowling wrote the first Harry Potter book. In the evening we watched the most amazing fireworks display. It was 45min long, timed to a live orchestra, and tens of thousands of people turned out. Fireworks were literally pouring off the castle.
Other highlights:
We took afternoon tea at this adorable teahouse with doilies and silver tiered trays and live piano music.
We met this teenaged girls who were IN LOVE with us because we were American. I thought they were going to ask for our autographs.
The Scots are super friendly. You say "hi" and they ask you your life story.
The scones here rock!!
