Great craic

We are in Derry tonight after the last three nights in teeny hamlet towns. Last night in Dunegal, a band of locals showed up at the pub specifically to play for us and a photographer from the paper was there taking photos and taking our names and such. It was such good craic. We sang Irish songs that we had learned that day like "Ratland Bog" and "Galway Girl." And jigging. We went nuts with the jigging. Simon took some video of our spastic attempts, so you'll see them if you're lucky.
We went to the Arran Islands and stayed on Inishmor. It is so lonely and desolate and beautiful. We rented bikes and rode around for hours. There are no trees there, only rock. Piles and piles and piles of rocks. My bum was KILLING me, but I figure that after all the Guiness and fish and chips I've been enjoying, I really needed it. Every Guiness I get in Ireland is the best Guiness of my life. It's a lovely pattern.
Have to go explore Kerry and learn about The Troubles. Tomorrow we go to Belfast. Love you!
